How to create Video-in-Video (PIP) on Android
When sharing with your followers on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, you can communicate information in new ways with a post that has a video in a video (PIP).
For example a map of directions to your favorite beach spot which also shows a video of the beach itself.
Option 1 - Use PicPlayPost App (Free and easy, all devices)
1) Install PicPlayPost (free) - tap to go to the Play Store.
2) Start a new Collage project (choose "Classic" and tap on the star tab) and chose your desired ratio.
3) Choose the Picture-in-Picture template (the one with an inner and outer box)
4) Add your background video (the beach) to the outer box (press "+" on the outer box).
5) Add the second video (the map directions) to the inner box (press "+" on the inner box).
6) Save the result.
See this video tutorial.
Now, after you've created one video with the map directions overlaid on the scenery of the beach, if you then want your viewers to only focus on the beach after getting the directions, you can follow these additional steps to add a second video after the first video finishes playing.
7) Start a new Movie/Slideshow project in PicPlayPost.
8) Add the video you created above as the first video and choose the background video as the second video in your slideshow
9) Trim each video to your desired frame.
10) Preview, Save and Share.
See this video tutorial.
